A graveside service for Lena V. Chapman of the Lone Rock community will be at 10AM Monday at the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery. Mrs. Chapman died Thursday (June 18, 1998) at her residence. She was 81.
Mrs. Chapman was born Feb 21, 1917, at Norfork, to Earl and Lucy Dickerson Parnell. She married Oscar Chapman Sep 7, 1946, at Yellville. She was a homemaker and attended the Lone Rock Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, Dale Chapman and Dennis Chapman, both of Norfork and Gary Chapman of Rochester, WA; one daugther, Lavenda Adams of Mt. Home; three brothers, Tom Parnell of Calico Rock, Gene Prnell of Norfork and Ralph Parnell of Mt. Home; two sister, Virgie Cox and Hazel Cox, both of Mt. Home and an host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8PM.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
