CRABTREE, Jas. - (from Pea Ridge) We are sorry to record the death of another one of our citizens, Jas. Crabtree, who died July 30, 1909. Mr. Crabtree was an old settler on Pea Ridge and well known. He was a very devoted christian, a loving father, and had been a faithful member of the M.E. church, South for a number of years. We feel that we have lost one of our best and truest members. He was an earnest Sunday school worker and had served many schools as superintendent. While we bow in humble submission to God's will we ask that his example and life may be followed by all. He leaves five children and many relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The remains were laid to rest beside his companion in Pea Ridge cemetery.
