Funeral services for Mrs. Spicy Cantrell, age 77, of Norfork will be Thursday, January 13, 1:00PM at the Lone Rock Baptist Church with Brother Tom Stover officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8:00PM at the Roller Funeral Home. Mrs. Cantrell passed away January 10, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Spicy Cantrell was born July 19, 1927, in Advance Arkansas to William McKinley Freeman and Rosey Jane Foster Freeman. She married Clyde Cantrell in March, 1949, in Marion County. She was a lifetime area resident. Mrs. Cantrell cleaned houses for a living. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and she enjoyed quilting and embroidering.
Mrs. Spicy Cantrell is survived by six children; Helen Shissler of Mt. Home, Earnest Cantrell of Norfork, Linda McClary of Mt. Home, Willa Lawson of Mt. Home, Carl Cantrell of Mt. Home and Melba Cain of Old Joe; two brothers, Dale Freeman of Salem and David Null of Horseshoe Bend; fourteen grandchildren and tree great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and husband, Clyde.
Memorials may be made to the Burnt School House Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements are by the Roller Funeral Home.
