RUSSEAU, Dan - Dan Russeau, aged sixty-six, died at his home near Miller schoolhouse northwest of Bentonville at 11 o'clock last Saturday night. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Miller schoolhouse, conducted by Rev. O.A. Fortune, pastor of the Bentonville Methodist Church. Burial was made in the neighborhood cemetery. The deceased had been suffering from gangrene poisoning for several months and leaves a wife who is nearly totally blind, and sixteen children, twelve of whom are at home, the oldest of these said to be about fourteen. His first wife and two of his children died some years ago. The family has been in destitute circumstances since Mr. Russeau's sickness and has been helped by the people of that neighborhood, by the county judge, and by Bentonville people. A few days before Thanksgiving a large amount of clothing and bedclothing was collected for the family here in Bentonville, among the people north of here and in the immediate Miller neighborhood.
