GIVENS, Nancy Ann - {from Gravette} Mrs. Nancy Ann Givens died at the home of her son, Robert, here following several weeks illness at the advanced age of 88 years. Mrs. Givens was born in Benton County, Mo. in 1841 and grew to womanhood there. She was married in Missouri and moved to Arkansas soon afterwards, settling near Sulphur Springs where they made a home a short time before the Civil War. She was a mother of six children, all of whom are living. Her husband died several years ago. Funeral services were conducted from the home of her son, Robert, where she had made her home for some time, Friday afternoon by Brother Killmer and burial was made at the Butler Creek cemetery following the services.
