Jennings Bryan Fielding
Jennings Bryan Fielding, 79, Rogers, died Wednesday at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1897 in Rogers.

He was a retired employee of the Sun Oil Company and a member of the Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Josie Cornog Fielding of the home; four sons, Robert Fielding of Rogers, Kenneth Fielding of Springdale, Paul Fielding of Tulsa Okla., and Tec, Sgt. J. B. Fielding of the Panama Canal Zone; four daughters, Loretta Taylor of Tulsa, Lucille Orrell of Seattle, Wash., Vivian Fielding of Fayetteville and Coreen Durbin of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Virgil Fielding of Rogers and Hattie Warren of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and 22 grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers with Rev, Howard Cupp officiating. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.

Jennings Bryan Fielding, 79, Rt.1, Rogers, died July 20 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. born Sept. 29, 1897 in Rogers, he was the son of Marion and Lettie Kelley Fielding and a member of the Christian Church. A former resident of Yale, Okla., he was an employee with Sun Oil Co. for 38 years and retired in 1965.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josie Cornog Fielding of the home; four sons, Robert Fielding, Rogers, Kenneth Fielding, Springdale, Paul Fielding, Tulsa, Okla., and Sgt. J. B. Fielding, Panama Canal Zone; four daughters, Mrs. Loretta Taylor, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Lucille Orrell, Seattle, Wash., Miss Vivian Fielding, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Coreen Durbin, Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, William Lot Fielding, Quay, Okla., and Virgil Fielding, Rogers; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Warren, Apache Junction, Ariz., and Mrs. Beatrice Fields, Rogers; and 22 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. Howard Cupp officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park under the direction of Burns.

Josie Fielding
Josie Fielding, 82, of Rogers, died Monday, Sept. 6, at St, Mary's Hospital, Rogers. She was born Feb. 9, 1911, at Spokane, Mo., to Elmer and Mary Cornog.

A homemaker, she was a member of the First Christian Church, Rogers, the Jolly Neighbors Club and the Eastern Star. A former resident of Quay, Okla., she worked at a church there and moved to Rogers in 1958.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Bryan "Jay" Fielding; three sons, Lawrence, Kenneth, and Robert Fielding; and a great-granddaughterm Lauren Haines.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Fielding of Muldrow, Okla.; J. B. Fielding of Rogers; four daughters, Lucille Orrell of Ellensburg, Wash., Loretta Taylor of Broken Arrow, Okla., Coreen Durbin of Edmond, Okla., Vivian Fielding of Fayetteville; two brothers, Kerthia Cornog of Rogers, Gerald Cornog of Minot, N.D.; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral is set for Thursday at First Christian Church, 13th and Oak Sts., Rogers. Burial will be at Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers. Visitation is set for 2-5 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Chapel, Rogers.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Box 428, Rogers, 72756; or the First Christian Church Sunday School Program, 13th and Oak Sts., Rogers, 72756. Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home, Rogers.
