March 6, 1895 - October 27, 1969
Mrs. Elsie Rhea Bull, 74, well known El Dorado business and club woman, of 922 N. Euclid Ave., died in a local hospital Monday morning following a brief illness. Mrs. Bull was active in First Baptist Church of which she was a member, and one of the early leaders of the local Business and Professional Women's Club. For many years she and her husband, Harry C. Bull owned and operated Bull Printing Co. as a partnership. A resident of El Dorado since 1920. Mrs. Bull was born in LaPlata, Tex., March 6, 1895, the daughter of Thomas Edward and Jeannie Dean Flickinger. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Earl Flickinger of Lawton, Okla. and a sister, Mrs. C. C. Brown of Slida, Colo. She also leaves two nephews. Funeral services have been announced for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Don B. Harbuck and the Rev. Tom Bray officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Young's. (El Dorado Times - October 28, 1969)
