FORGEY, Oliver C. - Oliver C. Forgey, age 81, died at his home on Electric street January 10 of influenza. Mr. Forgey was born in Virginia September 5, 1849, son of Jacob and Nancy Forgey. He came to Arkansas with his parents in 1849 and grew to manhood in northeast Benton county. He was married to Miss Mahala Roller February 23, 1874 and to this union four children were born: Miss Cora Forgey and Mrs. A.R. Osborne of Rogers, Edward Forgey, Springfield, Mo. and Robert, deceased. Mrs. Forgey died Feb. 18, 1904 and he was married to Mrs. Rebecca Frazier Sept. 23, 1906. They came to Rogers in 1912. He joined the Church of Christ late in life. Besides his wife and three children he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.D. Roller of Seligman and Mrs. H.C. Roller of Delta, Colo. and four brothers, Albert of Fresno, Calif.; John of Lincoln, Ark.; Jacob of San Bernardino, Calif. and Arch of Olney, Okla. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Wm. Lee Edwards Friday at 10 a.m. and interment was in Roller's Ridge cemetery.

FORGY, Oliver C. - Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock this morning for Oliver C. Forgy at the family home on Electric street. Mr. Forgy died at 1:30 Thursday morning following an illness with influenza. The deceased is survived by his widow, four children, Miss Cora and Mrs. A.R. Osborn, both of Rogers; Ed Forgy of Springfield; and Robert of Silverton, Oregon; four brothers, John of Lincoln, Ark.; Albert of Fresno, Calif.; Jacob, San Bernardino, Calif. (only three named); two sisters, Mrs. W.D. Roller, Seligman, Mo.; and Mrs. H.C. Roller, Delta, Colo. Rev. Wm. Lee Edwards conducted the services and interment was in a cemetery between Seligman and Eureka Springs in charge of J.W. Bryant.
