PEA RIDGE — Sarah Etta* Greene, 85, of Pea Ridge died July 18, 2006, at Highlands Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Bella Vista. She was born June 27, 1921, in Washburn, Mo., to James Walter and Lula Almyra Atkisson Dye. She lived in the area most of her life. She was a farmer, raised cattle and chickens and had worked for Excel Manufacturing in Bentonville for 17 years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and the outdoors. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge and the Ladies Quilting Club at Freedom Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Greene, in 1987.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Joe "Pete" Greene and wife Lynn of Gravette and Walter "Buster' Greene of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Janice Sue Lyons and husband Bob of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 a.m. Friday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with the Rev. Rick Booyer officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
