*When Donald James Boots was born on November 16, 1913, in Delaware, Iowa, his father, Jessie, was 25 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 22. He married Ruth Elizabeth COLSON on January 25, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They had two children during their marriage. He died on January 29, 1998, in Conway, Arkansas, at the age of 84, and was buried there.
