Annie M. Wootton of Oxford, daughter of the late William and Ida Bell Hartgraves Smith was born April 16, 1916 at Brockwell. She died September 28, 2000. She was 84.
Mrs. Wootton was a member of the Oxford Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Robert R. Wootton of Oxford; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Wootton, her parents, six brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services were held October 2, 2000 at Oxford Cemetery with Virgil Ferrell officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne
