CECIL E. REED
Cecil Emerson Reed, 84, Sulphur Springs, died Oct. 28 at Gravette Medical Center. Born April 5, 1890 at Waverly, Neb., he was the son of Otis and Lucy Penn Reed, a veteran of World War I and a retired farmer.

Survivors include hie wife, Mrs. Helen Reed of home; two sons, Robert Reed, Kansas City, Mo., and Thomas Reed, Raleigh, N.C.; eight daughters, Mrs. Etna Olds, Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Irene Brown, Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Helen Twist, Benson, La., Mrs. Katherine Weiner, Mira Loma, Calif., Mrs. Stella Price, Haven, Kan., Mrs. Shirley Philpott, Decatur, Mrs. Muriel Eubanks, Siloam Springs, and Mrs, Hazel Berger, Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Marvin Reed, Rhodes, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Losey, Newport Beach, Calif.; 32 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Assembly of God Church. Gravette, with the Rev. Jack Austin officiating. Burial will be in Butler Creek Cemetery under the direction of Pyeatte Funeral Service.
