GILES, Mrs. John E. - It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Mrs. John E. Giles which occurred at Siloam Springs on Monday evening of this week. The remains will be laid to rest in the G.A.R. cemetery at this place tomorrow (Friday) morning. John E. Giles moved to this city from Kansas about twenty years ago and at that time Mrs. Giles was almost a hopeless invalid. As the years passed she regained her health and bid fair to enjoy a ripe old age. Some five or six years ago the family moved from here to Siloam Springs on account of school facilities for the children. Her health has been failing for some time and this notice of her death will not come with any surprise to her intimate friends. To the bereaved family the Record extends sincere sympathy.
