Aubrey Wayne Dockins son of Bryan T Dockins and Zelma E (Lancaster) Dockins Hall and Frank Hall. He was born and reared in Rodney, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Rodney Soldier Reported Killed in Action in Korea

Pfc. Aubrey Dockins, 22 of Rodney, was killed in action in Korea, April 29, according to official notification received by his mother Mrs. Zelma Hall of Rodney, Monday.

He volunteered for service in 1948 and would have ended his three-year enlistment in August of this year. He had been overseas about a year and went to Korea after several months tour of duty in Japan. He was with the Medical Corps. Pfc. Dockins was born and reared at Rodney.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Frank Hall of Rodney and a brother Eugene S. Dockins of Pocahontas.

Body of Soldier Returned From Korea, Rites Wed

According to messages just received the body of Cpl. Aubrey Dockins, who was killed in action in Korea, April 29 will arrive at Calico Rock Tuesday morning, December 4, aboard the south-bound train.

Funeral arrangements, in charge of the Hall Funeral Service of Calico Rock, have been announced for Wednesday, December 5 at 2 p.m. at Rodney and burial will be in the Rodney Cemetery with military honors. Rev. J. E. Williamson of Pineville will officiate at the service.

Cpl. Dockins, 22 years of age was a son of Mrs. Frank Hall of Rodney. He volunteered for military service in 1948 and would have completed his three years enlistment last August. Besides his mother and step-father Frank Hall, he is survived by a brother, Eugene Dockins of Pocahontas.
