Jim Shell, age 61, of Sage was stricken with paralysis Thursday afternoon of last week, and died the following day. He seemed to be in his usual good health Thursday and was at Sage until late in the afternoon. He left that place and started for home but was stricken before he got there. A son, with whom he made his home, found him a short time later, unconscious, and he died without regaining consciousness. He is survived by two brothers, Andy, of Salem, and Bud, of Sage, and by one sister, Mrs. Jesse Dobbins, also of Sage and by three sons, Bryan, Hill and Albert Shell, all of Sage. Burial was in the Shell Cemetery near Sage, services being conducted by Rev. J. M. Rush.
