She and Morrell Juitt Woods were the parents of two chilren: Kendra & Levi.

(The following is an excerpt from a lengthy tribute in the above issue)
Senior Baxter County Quorum Court member Susan L. 'Susie' Woods of Norfork died Sunday night at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was 40.
Mrs. Woods served on the Quorum Court from her first election in 1988 until her death. She represented District 11 geographically the biggest section in almost all of the sourthern portion of Baxter County.
Mrs. Woods was born July 29, 1956 at Mt. Home. She was a graduate of Norfork High School where she was the salutatorian of the class of 1974. She married Morrell Woods Jan 23, 1976 in the Ozark hills of Baxter County.
She was a member of the Twin Lakes Republican Women, the National Federation of Republican Women, the Arkansas Associatin of Quorum Courts, Citizens for Clean Water and the National Federation of Small Businesses. Mrs. Woods also had been an executive officer of the Norfork Baseball Association and a member of the Norfork-Salesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, the White and North Fork Rivers Outfitters Association and the Norfork Community Action Group.
Memorial may be made to the Baxter County Emergency Services Training Center or Hospice of the Ozarks in care of Roller Funeral Home.
