Obituary
John E. Casteel, 65, of Mt. Home, died Tuesday (Feb 27, 1990) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services are Friday at 10AM at Fairview United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Bentley officiating.
Visitation will be today from 9AM to 9PM at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6PM to 8PM. Burial will be at Burnt School House Cemetery.
Mr. Casteel was a lifetime resident of Arkansas and a construction supervisor. He was born Sep 14, 1924, at Advance and Married Bonnie Harris Casteel in 1949, at Mt. Home. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and served in the US Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Henry Preston and Anna Sharp Casteel, one daughter and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Casteel of the home; one son Lloyd Casteel of San Francisco, CA; one brother, Walter P. Casteel of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Ivon Wilbur of Sunnyside, WA, Margie Knight of Mt. Home; and one grandson.
Pallbearers are Leonard Kellem, James Harris, Marvin Bolding, Neil Knight, Bob Knight and Tommy Knight.
Honorary pallbearers are Howard Casteel, John Kellem, John Luther and Bob Wilkerson.
