(from the Gravette Record) - Mose Shockley, well known around Sulphur Springs and who lived near Pack, was killed by a tree falling on him Tuesday afternoon. He was a relative of Mrs. Axel Johnson. The burial took place Wednesday afternoon in the Wann cemetery.

Mose Shockley, who was reported last week as being killed by a tree falling on him, formerly ran the Allsman blacksmithing shop here, now operated by Truman. Mr. Shockley had many friends and acquaintances in Gravette and vicinity.
