Jimmie Michelle Crider of Oxford, daughter of Jimmy and Bonnie Way Crider was born August 18, 1984 in Kerrville, Texas. She died April 25, 2001 in Little Rock. She was 16.
Jimmie was a junior in Izard County Consolidated High School and a member of the Violet Hill Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her parents, Jimmy and Bonnie Crider of Oxford; one sister Christi Crider of Oxford; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Way of Kerrville, Texas; paternal grandparents, Jessie and Sharon Crider of Ingram, Texas; great grandmother, Edna Van Winkle of Joplin, Missouri; 17 aunts and uncles, Ronny and Twila Rotge; Cecil and Kathy McGehee; Jane Way; Leslie and Carolyn Buck; and Jim and Teresa More all of Texas; Jimmy and Sheryl Burris; J.D. and Lequita Crider; and Charles and Becky Crider all of Arkansas; and Kenneth and Michelle Crider of Florida; numerous cousin and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held April 27, 2001 at Izard County Consolidated High School gymnasium with Leon Morehead and Curtis McLaughlin officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Rotge, Sean Rotge, Chris Browning, Joey Gaston, Josh Dockins and Buddy McGehee. Honorary pallbearers were J.D. Crider, Charles Crider, Kenneth Crider, Ronny Rotge, Cecil McGehee and Josh McGehee.
Interment was at Owens Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Funeral Home of Melbourne.
