SULPHUR SPRINGS — Mary B. Neer, 98, of Sulphur Springs died Aug. 25, 2002, at the Monroe Manor in Jay, Okla. She was born Nov. 18, 1903, in Milburn, Okla., to John and Clara Fowler McAnulty. She moved to the Gravette area in 1949 from Oklahoma. She was an elementary teacher, a member of the First Baptist Church in Gravette and the Good News Club Child Evangelism Fellowship. Her hobbles were gardening and teaching. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Neer.
Survivors include one son, Harold Neer Jr. of Sulphur Springs; two grandchildren, David Neer of Bartlesville, Okla., and Dana Neer French of St. Louis, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey Neer of Bartlesville, Jacob French, Rachel French and Emily French, all of St Louis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Gravette with the Rev. Sam Moore and the Rev. J.D. Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Wann Cemetery west of Gravette.
Local arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Gravette.
