Matt Gold, 89, of rural Colcord, Okla., died Saturday, July 29, 1995, at his home.
Born Nov. 9, 1905, in Narcissa, Okla., the son of Matt and Mary 0. Montgomery Gold, he was in the construction business, and moved to Colcord in 1976 from Tulsa. He was a member of Gentry Masonic Lodge No. 222; Council No. 64; R. and S.M.; commandery No. 15; and Royal Arch Chapter No. 72. He was married to Virgie Bruce Gold and was a member of First Baptist Church in Colcord, Okla.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores Koss of Colcord, Okla., and Mary 0. Hix of Kansas, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Colcord, Okla., with the Rev. Tom Lazenby and the Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Gentry Lodge No. 222 will perform Masonic Rites at the church following the service. Burial is scheduled to follow in Wann Cemetery, near Southwest City, Mo., with services under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
