Mrs. Margie Marie Haley, age 98 of Gassville passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Gassville Living and Therapy. Margie Haley was born January 22, 1915 in Baxter County, Arkansas to Miles G. and Nancy Idona (Reed) Crownover. She married Redus Rufus Haley on January 18, 1934 in Gassville, Arkansas. Her greatest joy in life was truly her family. She was a member of the Whiteville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Margie Marie Haley is survived by two sons; Roger Haley and wife Thelma of Gassville, Hoy Haley and wife Mary of Flemington, Missouri, 3 daughters; Vivian Haley of Gassville, Betty Whitaker husband Jim of Cotter, Ima Jean Buentgen of Quartz Hill, California, sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, one sister; Helsie Patrick of Wilmington, Ohio. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, one daughter, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Roller Funeral Home from 1:00-9:00 PM, with family receiving friends from 1:00-3:00PM. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ronnie Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Whiteville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Whiteville Cemetery Fund.
