Burchel the son of George Earl Wildrick, Sr. and Mary Frances (Weaver) Wildrick. Maxine the daughter of Henry Combs and Mary Belle (Hasselback) Combs.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Maxine Combs Wildrick, 79, of Imboden, who died Tuesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge, will be Friday morning at 10 at Higginbotham Funeral Service of Walnut Ridge, with Rev. Joe Loghry officiating.

Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Imboden.

She was an employee of the Cinch Company in Pocahontas for 10 years. She was the former president of the Lawrence County Extension Homemakers Club and was a member Order of the Eastern Star. She had worked as a nursing assistant and as a volunteer for the Portia School for Exceptional Children.

Survivors include one daughter, Cookie Melton of Jonesboro; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burchell Wildrick and by one son, six brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be this afternoon from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.
