Emma Pearl McLaughlin the daughter of Robert Britton McLaughlin and Rosetta (Butler) McLaughlin.
Emma Pearl McLaughlin
IMBODEN -- Emma Pearl McLaughlin, 97, of Imboden, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Walnut Ridge.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1909, in the Fair View community, the daughter of the late Robert Britton and Rosetta Butler McLaughlin.
She retired from the Imboden Postal Service after 37 years and was a member of Fair View Baptist Church.
Survivors include two nieces, Alma Dickerson of Imboden and Margaret Taylor of Park City, Utah; a great-niece, Peggy Stalnaker, whom she raised; and two great-nephews, Allan Dickerson of Cromwell, Conn., and Marshall Dickerson of Carthage, Mo. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Higginbotham Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Harold Russell officiating.
Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery at Imboden under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Walnut Ridge.
