Baxter County,
Arkansas

Wife of
J. W. Hutcheson
BORN
Jan. 1, 1846
DIED
Mar. 10, 1902

Nannie E. Hutcheson was born January 1, 1846. According to several census records, she was born in North Carolina. She died March 10, 1902, in Baxter County, Arkansas. Family researchers have been unable to ascertain her parents or her maiden name; however, family lore seems to indicate that her maiden name was Greenway or Greenlee.

Nannie E. Hutcheson was the wife of John W. Hutcheson. She may have been his second wife because he was enumerated in the 1870 census with a wife named Mary that was born in Mississippi and a 10-month old daughter, Christina. John W. and Nannie E. Hutcheson had five children (or four if Christina was actually a step-child for Nannie E.): Christina Gabrielle, born 1869, married Charles A. Hazelrigg in 1888; Sidney J., born 1872, married Estella Luther in 1900; E. Drucilla, born 1875, married William "Bill" Bonner in 1893; Samuel S., born 1877, never married; and Minnie Lee, born 1879, married Robert Martin in 1901.

After the death of John W. Hutcheson, Nannie E. Hutcheson married his brother, George W. Hutcheson.

Note: The information pertaining to Nannie E. Hutcheson was supplied by Earlene, a descendent of John W. that is a researcher of the family.
