William's parents were John Franklin and Margaret Rosanna Sloan Henderson; Ella's parents were Dr. William Henry James and Temperance Adela Wesson James. [The first initials of Ella's and her four older, full sisters', were the vowels, A, E, I, O and U, and the second initial was the letter L. Their names were Ada L., Ella Lorena, Ida Leona, Ora L., and Ula L.]
