Judson Vincent Shawver, 59, Siloam Springs, died Oct. 17 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1917, at Maysville, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Shawver, a farmer, a Jehovah's Witness, an employee of Simmons Industries and had lived in the Siloam Springs area most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Audrey Mae Shawver of the home; three sons, J.C. Shawver and Ervin Shawver, Siloam Springs, and Bob Shawver, Colcord, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Marylou Barbee, Siloam Springs, and Marie Shawver of the home; his parents of San Diego, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Ada Cole, of Chula Vista, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the memorial chapel of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs. Burial will be in Dickson Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.

Audrey Mae Shawver, 87, of Watts, Okla., died Feb. 24, 2008, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation in Siloam Springs, Ark.

She was born Sept. 8, 1920, in Siloam Springs to Mart Duncan and Edna Sultana Cole Duncan. She married Vincent Shawver on Dec. 25, 1937. She retired from John Brown University in Siloam Springs after 36 years. She then ran the Eastgate Restaurant before opening Audrey's Diner in Siloam Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Shawver; two brothers, Ervin Duncan and Clyde Duncan; two sisters, Margaret Bevelyn Duncan and Anna Mae Duncan; and a daughter, Velma Jean Shawver. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, J.C. Shawver and Barbara Shawver of Watts, and Ervin Shawver and Janice Shawver, and Bobby Shawver and Sheila Shawver, all of Colcord; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Lou Barbee, and Marie Henson and Dale Henson, all of Colcord; a sister, Mary Evelyn Lucas of Jay, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Feb. 29 at Wasson Funeral Home with Larry Ellis officiating. Burial was at the Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
