O. R. Young, 70, of Willisville, a retired cotton gin operator, died Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. in a Prescott hospital. He is survived by his widow; four sons, W. A. Young of Phoenix, Ariz., Gerald Young of Houston, Tex., Johnny Walraven of Willisville and Guy Walraven of Patterson, La.; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Cooper of Willisville; three brothers, L. L. Young of Waldo, M. A. Young of Rosston and Rufus Young of Ashland, La; three sisters, Mrs. T. E. Wreyford and Mrs. Bruen Chappel, both of Texarkana, and Mrs. L. L. Simpson of El Dorado; 14 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Willisville Church of Christ with Glen Parks officiating, assisted by Harold Gardner. Burial was in Columbia Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps. (The El Dorado Times - December 23, 1965)
