Wynne-David Beam, 68, of Wynne died Wednesday in Memphis. He was born at Denver to Jack and Leatha Hunt Beam. David was a 26-year veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He taught math at Hughes High School, and was a history buff and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Beam, daughters, Crystal Beam of Searcy and Kendall Boydston of Wynne, sister, Carroll Brock and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p m today in Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cogbill Cemetery with full military honors.
