December 4, 1950 - August 26, 1965
Houston Thee Johnson, 14, of Hampton, died Thursday in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 4, 1950, in Hampton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Johnson of Hamburg, attended Hampton High School and was the nephew of Mrs. W. T. Blair of El Dorado. Surviving are his parents, three sisters, Donna Kaye Johnson, Hampton, Cecilia Faye Johnson, Hampton, Mrs. Billy Rose Kessler, Baltimore, Md., and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Noah H. Benson Hampton. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Hampton Church of Christ with J. D. McNutt and Don Osborne officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton New Hope Cemetery under direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. (The El Dorado Times - August 27, 1965)
