Curtis Stewart, a young man of Norfork, who was severely injured in an accident at Guion a few weeks ago died on Thursday of last week at St. Vincent's Infirmary at Little Rock as a result of his injuries. His remains arrived at Norfork Saturday and were buried at that place.
Up to the time of the accident the young man was employed at the coal chute at Guion. A train was setting out some cars there and he stepped off the main track to get out of the way of the engine and got onto the switch track just in time to get struck by a moving car which passed entirely over him, mangling an arm and a leg. He was rushed to the hospital at Little Rock where his foot was amputated. he was in very serious condition since that time and but little hope could be entertained for his recovery.
