Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Small, aged 92, of Norfork were held Saturday at 2PM in the Norfork Baptist Church, with Rev. O.I. Ford of Midway officiating. Mr. Small died Tuesday of last week in a Calico Rock hospital.
Interment was in the Norfork cemetery, under direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Mr. Small, a retired stone mason and native of Missouri, was born March 5, 1868, the son of the late James Jasper Small and Mary Elizabeth Clark Small. He had spent the greater part of his life in this area.
Mr. Small was a member of the Baptist Church, which he joined in 1911. Hew was married to Martha Louvina Small who died in 1952.
Survivors include four sons, John of Junction City, KS, and Leslie, Jim and Zion of Norfork; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Simpson and Mrs. Anna Weatherford of Norfork and Mrs. Ruby Dobbs of Little Rock; 41 grandchildren' 62 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, Grover Small of New Mexico and tree sister, Mrs. Fannie Blatchie of California and Mrs. Anna Hanks and Mrs. Linnie Hudson of New Mexico.
Pallbearers were, Mose McVey, Eudal Southard, Paul Hogan, Sid Skidmore, Ralph Martin and Jim Greer.
