White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, July 28, 1988:
Frederick Conklin, Jr., 35 of Dolph died July 22, 1988 at Saline County, Arkansas. He was a wood craftsman and had resided in Izard County for 3 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Conklin and Etta May Pitt.
Survivors include his wife Delma Jean of the home; 4 brothers, Harvey Conklin of Havastraw, New York; John Conklin, Clarence Hogancamp and Nelson Hogancamp, all of Leesville, Louisiana; 2 sisters, June Hagan of Dolph and Sally Nolton of Hornbeck, Louisiana.
Services were held July 26th at Howard Chapel in Calico Rock with Wayne Wood officiating.
Burial was at Trimble Campground Cemetery at Dolph.
Pallbearers were: Joe Stephen, Marty Sanders, Lee Cowgill, Rex Dockins & Jerry Spurgeon.
