Ruby Elizabeth Owens, 80, a lifetime resident of Norfork, died Monday at Fort Smith.
Mrs. Owens was born at Martin Springs, Sep 4, 1902. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Wilson of Fort Smith and Wilma Strong of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert I. Martin and Minnie Lee Hutchenson Martin and by her husband Wilbur E. Owens.
Services were Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Irvin Barnes officiating. Burial was in Norfork Cemetery with Robert Wilson, Tom Strong, John Ranson, R.L. Martin, Danny DeHart and Sylvester Miller serving as pallbearers.
