Norris L. Martin, 47, of 1118 Maple St., Mt. Home, a disabled World War II veteran died Sunday at his residence. A native of Baxter County, he had lived here for the past three years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Martin and two daughters, Nancy Dare and Barbara V. Martin, all of the home.
Mr. Martin was born at Norfork on April 12, 1921, the son of the late Charley Brewer Martin and Lois Luther Martin. He was married to the former Nancy Barnett. He served with the US Army during World War II
Funeral services were conducted yesterday (Wednesday) at the Norfork Church of Christ with Bro. Bill Richardson, minister of the Mt. Home Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Pallbearers were Jeff Hackler, Paul Hogan, Robert Luther, Fern Harvey, Quinby Swearingen and Vero Hall.
Honorary pallbearers were Ed Simpson, Carl Sheid, Jack Bonner. A.B. Whitfield, Robert Henley and Wilbur Owens.
