William "Will" Uze Skidmore son of Thomas Uze Skidmore and Matilda "Tilda" Jane (Finley) Skidmore. Will was born in Wideman, Izard County, Arkansas died Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.

**Obituary

William U. Skidmore, aged 88, of Dolph died at Calico Rock Medical Center on Feb 15, 1980. He was the son of Thomas U. Skidmore and had lived in Izard County all of his life. He was a memeber of the Campground Presbyterian Church and a Veteran of Wold War I. His occupation was farming.

Survivors are his wife, Nada Sanders Skidmore of Dolph; two daughters, Joyce Parnell of Norfork and Reathel Richardson of Utah; 3 step daughters, Kaye Allen and Wanda Bedsoe, both of Michigan, Ella Hogan of Chrery Valley, AR; two sisters, Millie Minton and Maye Langston, both of Indiana. Also 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 10 step grand children, 15 step great grandchildren and 3 step great great grandchildren.

Funeral was at Camp Ground Church on Feb 18, Rev. Paul Huskey and Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Burial was in Camp Ground Cemetery with Howard's in charge. Pallbearers were Tim Sanders, Jeff Sanders, Jimmy Sanders, Vernon Neal, Jerry Parnell and Ralph Rand.
