Dave E. Killian, 60, of Norfork died Saturday (Jul 11) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was a retired carpenter for the Corps of Engineers at Lake Norfork.
Survivors include his wife Edna 'Pat' Killian of the home; two sons, Robin Killian of Pineville and Craig Killian of Calico Rock; two daughters, Dee Hall and Sharon Alman, both of Norfork; six sisters, Della Mae Stewart, Ruby Stewart, Berniece Skidmore, Mary Light and Beatrice Lawrence, all of Norfork, and Fern Dockins of Forty Four (Izard County).
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Mr. Killian was born March 17, 1927, at Iuka, AR, a son of the late Frank and Agnes Fountain Killian. He married the former Edna 'Pat' Dechert on Jan 8, 1951, in Douglas, WY. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral was Sunday at First Baptist Church of Norfork with the Rev. Forrest Bynum officiating. Burial was at Norfork Cemetery with military graveside honors.
Pallbearers were Keith Parnell, Allen Walton, Doyle Cope, Dean Franks, Paul Huskey, and Earl Killian. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Roy Beard, Donald Hudgens, Glenn Friend, Edward Stewart, Opal Smith and Norman Dahn.
Arrangements were by Roller Funeral Home.
