Fred C. Fuller & Sallie J. Ford were married on a Stone County ferry on the White River on July 5, 1925.

This gravestone marked Fred C. Fuller's grave since shortly after his death until his wife died in 2000. At that time a double tombstone was erected to mark their graves, and this marker was moved to the foot of the grave.

Fred Fuller, 41, was killed at 2 o'clock Saturday morning on Norfork dam when he fell 180 feet through an opening in the dam from a concrete pour. A foreman in cement, he is the father of seven children. Their home was near Norfork. His injuries included a skull fracture, a compound fracture of the left leg below the knee, several ribs fractured and right shoulder blade fracture. He is the second man to be killed on the dam proper, Harold Hines, 25, a carpenter, having died January 6, in a 36 foot fall from the power house.
Funeral service were held at Norfork Sunday, conducted by the Rev. E.T. Baker and in charge of the McClure Funeral Home.
Besides his wife and seven children, he is survived by two sisters, one half brother and one granddaughter.
Born May 5, 1902, he has been a member of the Baptist Church for six years.
