Harry F. Francis, Jr. of Springfield, MO, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 8, 2002.
He was born Nov 24, 1945, at Gassville and lived for many years in Norfork. He resided the last few years at Maranatha Village in Springfield. Harry Jr.'s sense of humor in spite of his difficulties has been and inspiration to everyone who knew him. May his willingness to laugh while enduring such painful physical infirmities be a lesson to all of us to be thankful for the simple things in life. Harry Jr. was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his stepmother, Mildred Francis of Norfork; two sisters, Sue Mayfield (Henderson)of Kansas City, MO and Gwen Henderson of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from noon-9PM today at Roller Funeral Home Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. A funeral will be 10AM Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Norfork Cemetery.
