Harry F. Francis, 80, of Norfork, died June 19, at the Baxter Manor Nursing Home. He was an area native and had retired as Control Room Operator at the Norfork Dam.
He was born March 1, 1908, at Odess, CO. His parents were H.F. 'Dick' and Elizabeth Francis.
He and his wife Mildred were married on Dec 25, 1954, at Cotter. She survives him.
Other survivors are a son, Harry Francis, Jr. of Norfork; two daughters, Sue Mayfield of Kansas City, MO and Gwen Henderson of Springfield, MO; a sister, Lulu More of Hobart, IN; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, his parents, a brother and two sisters.
He was a member of the Norfork Masonic Lodge and the Baptist Church.
Services were held June 23, at the First Baptist Church of Norfork with pallbearers Rev. Paul Huskey, Sid Skidmore, Gene Alexander, James Mayfield and John Henderson.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Butcher, Wayne Hager, James 'Ed' Henderson, Milo Wheeler, Pat Thompson, Edward Stewart, Howard Stewart, Steve Stack and Danny Rice.
Burial was in the Norfork Cemetery with arrangements by Roller Funeral Home of Mt. Home.
