May 30, 1919
Mrs. Bettie Finley of Norfork, who has been in declining health for several months died at her home at that place Thursday evening of last week, May 22. Mrs. Finley was the wife of the late Rev. Robt. L. Finley, a well-known Baptist minister and they formerly were residents of Calico Rock. She is also a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. J. M. Rector. Who are formerly of Calico Rock and Melbourne, Mrs. Finley was near 40 years of age; and a devout Christian and news of her death will be received with deep sorrow by a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held last Friday, afternoon, interment being made in the Norfork Cemetery. Besides her sisters and other relatives, deceased is survived by one daughter, Miss Opal Finley.
