Funeral services were held Thursday of last week in the Norfork Methodist Church of Mrs. Clara Elledge, aged 85, of Poplar Bluff, MO, who died in Poplar Bluff on April 12.
Rev. Gerald Martin was officiating minister, Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery, with Roller Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Elledge, a former resident of Baxter County, was born September 3, 1874, in Des Moines County, Iowa. Her parents were the late John R. Stewart and Mary Ricker Stewart.
A member of the Methodist Church, Mrs. Elledge had lived in Poplar Bluff for the past 14 months.
She is survived by three sons, Edward Elledge of Poplar Bluff, Forest Elledge of Greenville, SC and Hardin Elledge of Little Rock; two brothers, Frank Stewart f Missouri and Russell Stewart of Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Wilson and Mrs. Pearl Clark, both of Iowa, and four grandchildren.
