Mrs. Gladys Novella Arnold, 60, of Culver City, CA, a former resident of Baxter County, died last Friday at Culver City.
Funeral services were held at 2PM Tuesday at the Norfork Church of Christ with Bro Jerry Coley of Mt. Home officiating. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery under the direction of the McClure Service of Mt. Home.
Pallbearers were Don Rouse, Oren Rouse, Ed Simpson, Andrew Simpson, Quinby Swearingen and Eunice Farrier.
The daughter of Samuel J. Brown and Emma Dameron Brown, Mrs. Arnold was born Dec 24, 1905, at Peach Tree, AR. She had resided in California for the past 10 years. Mrs. Arnold was a housewife, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Maurice Dale Arnold of Bethesda, MD, Donald J. Arnold of Santa Ana, CA, Billy B. Arnold of Fort Collins, CO and Eulon Carroll Arnold of Columbia, MO; nine grandchildren; a brother, George Brown of Springfield, MO; and six sisters, Mrs. Mabel Martin of Neodesha, KS, Miss Opal Brown of Arkansas, Mrs. Beulah Roberts of Springfield, MO, Mrs. Fleeda Park of Thayer, MO, Mrs. Joyce McIntosh of Waco, TX and Mrs. Fern Gillihan of Placerville, CA.
