From Benton Courier, November 3, 1927, pg 6 in the Reform Community Section: "Abner Depriest, son of Mrs. J Z Quinn, wrecked his car in Jefferson township, on the road to Tom Johnson's last week, breaking his neck (as reported to me). He died and was buried in Antioch Cemetery Thursday, Oct 27. His wife and another occupant were only scratched, it is said."
Mr. Quinn was his stepfather; his father was Green Depriest. He was the husband of Maudie Ethel Tillery.
