Paul Dalrymple Dies of Injuries Received at Camp

Paul Dalrymple, son of Mrs J. M. Dalrymple and the late Mr Dalrymple of Wideman; met death in an accident at Buckley Field, Denver, Colo., Monday. The young man and another soldier were riding in a jeep en route to duties outside of the camp when the machine turned over. Dalrymple was removed to a camp hospital where he died several hours later.

After learning of the accident, Mrs Dalrymple and two daughters left Wideman for Denver, but learned of the death upon arrival in St. Louis and returned home.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed early today, but the body is expected to arrive at Calico Rock on Saturday afternoon's train and interment will be at Wideman.

The deceased is a former student of Calico Rock High School, and graduated here in 1940. He was active in the work of the local chapter of Future Farmers of America, being an outstanding student in high school and the chapter. He was awarded the American Farmer degree in recognition of his accomplishments in F. F. A. work.

Surviving, are his mother; six sisters, Mrs Eunice Mullins, Mrs Mamie Butler and Miss Geraldine Dalrymple of California, Mrs Ethel Helm and Miss Armilda Dalrymple of Wideman and Miss Arah Dalrymple of Melbourne.
