Applied for veteran pension # 23173 August 16,1915.
He was married to Hester E Vance and Amanda E Porter (unknown if Porter was a prior married name or maiden name).
His name is shown as Jonathan on one census, James on another and Jack on others. Family members tell me his name was John Jackson, but I have no proof of that at this time.
