Farmer Pinned Under Truck Wreckage, Dies

Jonesboroo, Nov 23, - Zachery Haynes Watts, 58, Ravenden stock owner and farmer, died late yesterday of injuries suffered when he was pinned beneath a truck which plunged into an embankment near the Opposition community, near Ravenden. He was driving to his home.
Watts was found by Don Gregory, another farmer. He was dead when removed from the wreckage.
A bachelor, Watts had lived all of his life in the Ravenden area.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John Stall (error in story it is Stoll) and Miss Myrtle Watts; two brothers, Bud and Sloan Watts of Ravenden, and a half brother, Buster Ball of Mammoth Spring.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Opposition Cemetery, near Ravenden, by Rev. W.T. Watson.

Jonesboro-Zachery H Watts, 60 year old Ravenden farmer, died late yesterday of injuries received when his 1 and 1/2 ton truck plunged from the highway down an embankment near Ravenden.
He was found in the wreckage by Mr. and Mrs. Don Gregory. At this time he was still conscious, but Gregory said he was unable to release the body after it had been pinned in the wreckage He rushed to get help, but Watts was dead when his body was removed from the truck wreckage.
He was a bachelor. He had been visiting a brother, Bud Watts nearby, and was enroute home at the time.
Surviving are two sisters, Miss Myrtle Watts and Mrs. John Stoll, and two brothers, Bud Watts and Sloan Watts, all of Ravenden community.
