Thurman Helton Kent, Jr., 63, of Fayetteville, died Friday, July 28, 1995, in Springdale. Born July 27, 1932 in Sweetwater, Texas, the son of Thurman Helton Kent, Sr., and Ida Duncan Kent, he lived in northwest Arkansas since 1976. He was a graduate of Abilene Christian College and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was employed by Clarke Industries.
Survivors are his wife, Ann Kent of Fayetteville; a son, Mark Kent of The Woodlands, Texas; a daughter, Karen Kent of Abilene, Texas and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the West Fork Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
