Funeral services for Gerald Wayne Knowles, age 5, of 801 West Webster, Springfield, MO, were held at 2PM Saturday at the Norfork Methodist Church with Rev.. Gerald Martin officiating.
Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery, with Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The youth died on Wednesday of last week, August 12, in a Springfield hospital. His family, former Baxter County residents had live there about seven months.
He was a member of the Methodist church and was born in Mt. Home on November 6, 1953.
Survivors include his parents, Earl Knowles and Mrs. Florine Smith Knowles of Springfield; a brother, Howard Lynn Knowles, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Knowles of Route 3, Mt. Home; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hanley Smith of Twin Creek and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Floyd Staggs, Wifred Partee, Rudolph Torrance and Howard Oliver.
