Leamon Loy Harness, 79, passed away December 2, 2003, in Harriet.
He was born February 6, 1924, in Panama City, OK.
He was a diesel mechanic. He loved fishing, buying and trading cars, metal detecting. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Carole Davis; one sister, Zetta Whitwell.
Survivors include wife Helen Harness of Harriet; step mother, Trudy Harness of Cleveland, OK; three sons, Gary Harness of Conroe, Texas, Jimmy Harness of Harriet, Ronny Harness of Bagdad, Arizona; three daughters, Patty Ratchford of Leslie, Kathy Maddux of Willis, Texas, Suzie Smith of Ada, Oklahoma; four brothers, Alvin Harness of Oilton, Oklahoma, Fairl Harness of Harriet, Don Harness of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Dwight Harness of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; one sister, Betty McCarthy of Sparta, Missouri; 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were December 6, 2003, at Roller Coffman Chapel with Billy Joe Reid officiating.
Military graveside services were at Norfork Cemetery under the direction of Roller Coffman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were John Gannon, Michael Gannon, Jim Gannon, Pat Gannon, Terry Nelms, Steve Powers, Giovanni Ricciardi.
Honorary pallbearers were Greg Watts, Denny Holms, Ray Hyman, Chris Ebbings.
